The $250 Neiman Marcus Cookie

Have you ever heard the story of the $250 Neiman Marcus Cookie Recipe? Well let me tell you this women is a true DIVA! So here is the story. After a shopping spree at Neiman Marcus a women and her daughter grab a bite to eat at The Neiman Marcus Cafe. She had bought one of their chocolate chip cookies and absolutely loved it. A month later she received her VISA statement from Neiman-Marcus and it was $285.00. On the bottom of the statement, it said, “Cookie Recipe – $250.00”. Outrageous!!!

She called Neiman’s Accounting Dept. and told them that the waitress said it was “two-fifty,” which clearly does not mean “two hundred and fifty dollars” by any POSSIBLE interpretation of the phrase. Neiman-Marcus refused to budge.
The women replied, “Okay, you folks got my $250.00, and now I’m going to have $250.00 worth of fun.”

She told them that she would send every cookie lover in the United States with an e-mail account the $250.00 cookie recipe from Neiman-Marcus… for free!! Continue reading
